| Helping hands after typhoon Yolanda |
Everyone had a hard time, and as I watched over the news, I am moved by people who spreads love all over the hopeless place. It was a hard time indeed but everyone is coping, everyone is moving on, life is going on. I am happy to know that all people manifests love, joy and giving even during tight and hard times. And we do it passionately.
As I was waiting for our class, i went to the library and reach for the nearest book. The following article catches my attention:
"Bus Number Nine to Paradise" a book by Leo Buscaglia
It was an excerpt from The Mustard Seed: Reflections for Daily Living by Joseph A.Galdon
It is a story about a bus going to paradise (heaven) and the ticket we must have is having passion, enthusiasm, and excitement for love, joy and giving.
My learnings were:
1. We need to love, and love with enthusiasm, with excitement, with passion!
2. That in giving love, we receive more. We should not be selfish.
3. That we should not loss,our humour in life, because life is beautiful, and not a,battlefield.
"We've got to get all excited about this great adventure called love!" my favorite line. :)
